Testimonials
“Adrienne’s webinar presentation for Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth, “Social Media and Mental Health During Social Distancing,” was very well received by a large remote audience of educators, including teachers, psychologists, social workers and guidance counselors. Adrienne is an interactive, informative, and skilled presenter and received countless accolades from our webinar participants. ”
“Adrienne has had two sessions with our school’s parent community and, if we are fortunate, she will come back again! Her presentations are not only informative with the latest science and research, but include strategies for families to negotiate complex social situations. Adrienne is very fun, warm, and approachable which fosters easy interactions and opportunities to brainstorm solutions. As a mother of four, she is very empathetic to the challenges of parenting in this age of ever changing technology and social networking.”
“You were a rock star today. Thank you so much for coming and having such great conversations with our community members. TLO is an awesome initiative and all in attendance felt very reinforced and informed with what you shared.”
“Adrienne, thank you so much for the Family Media Plan talk tonight! That was so great! I’ve been wanting to update our plan and mission for a while now, and your talk and notes gave me the energy and impetus to get it done! Best to you in all your efforts to spread the good word about keeping tech in check, and for supporting us parents with loving, caring, non-judgemental (!), help and insights!”
“Thank you for hosting the event last night. I loved the analogy of teaching kids to drive and I appreciate that you gave examples of your own choices. The talk was very empowering and reminded us that we are the ones making decisions for our children’s well being. When you mentioned the question about telling someone about your kids in the future, it also made me think what will my kids remember about their childhood? They will remember the family game nights and laughter during car rides- not TV shows and video games. These are difficult times and it would be so easy to let tech creep back into our lives- but in many ways these days are also allowing us to make big changes in how we spend our days together as a family. ”
